Performance is the artistic core and founding practice of Momentos World, forming the initial creative nucleus from which the entire Artistic Cloud Centre evolved.

Established in 2011 in Vienna, Austria, by choreographer and artistic director Vinicius, the first dance-theatre productions marked the beginning of a transnational artistic practice that connects creation, collaboration and intercultural exchange.

Today, Momentos Performance operates across three countries — Germany (Münster & Rendsburg), Austria (Vienna and Innsbruck) and Brazil (Brasília, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo) — as a decentralized artistic structure within the broader Momentos World network.

This transnational configuration allows performances to emerge in dialogue with diverse cultural, geographical and social contexts, transforming each production into a site of encounter and shared artistic research.

Over the past decade, Momentos World has developed and presented more than 34 original performances across these locations, each contributing to an evolving body of work that integrates choreography, intercultural dialogue and collaborative creation.

Rather than existing as isolated productions, these works form part of a continuous artistic process that reflects the long-term development of Momentos World as an Artistic Cloud Centre.

Within Momentos World, performance is not understood as a final product, but as a process of artistic inquiry and collective experience.
